What are your specialties or areas of focus?
I have extensive experience working with ballet dancers, especially on cross training for injury prevention, rehabilitation, and building sustainable technique. I am also fortunate to teach both Classical Pilates and The Gyrotonic Method to a wide range of clientele, including those with health circumstances requiring creative modifications and extra support. It is always an honor to assist clients in the studio, and I enjoy meeting each person where they are and learning how to best support their needs.
How would you describe your teaching style?
I would describe my teaching style as passionate, encouraging, patient and adaptive. I aim to create a collaborative environment where clients feel heard, informed, and empowered to push through challenges and achieve lasting change.
What inspired you to become a movement instructor, and what led you to Classical Pilates and/or the GYROTONIC® Method?
I was introduced to Pilates and the GYROTONIC® Method as cross-training while dancing ballet professionally, and loved the way they supported my body and mind as an athlete. Over time, these methods also became essential tools in managing challenging symptoms I experience as a result of an autoimmune disease. Although I initially began the GYROTONIC® certification process to deepen my own practice, I fell in love with sharing its benefits through teaching. I went on to complete several specialized GYROTONIC® courses, and eventually pursued a comprehensive Pilates certification to further expand my offerings as a teacher.
What do you hope clients feel or gain after training with you consistently?
Through consistent training, I hope my clients feel amazed at what they can achieve and how wonderful their movement can feel. I hope their practice becomes an uplifting rhythm that keeps them moving, feeling, and living better for years to come.
